We love having our Cedarburg salon located in historic downtown-especially during the holidays. Cute shops, restaurants and the aesthetically pleasing stroll down Washington Avenue all make for the perfect seasonal setting. Not only do we get to enjoy the daily perks of our excellent location, but we also get to be a part of the exceptional Cedarburg community and many of the holiday events in Ozaukee County-including the annual Cedarburg Festival of Trees. The festival will take place this Saturday, November 19, 2011 from 12-4pm at the Cedarburg Community Center. Hosted by the Cedarburg Junior Women’s Club, the event will transform the center into a “wonderland of lights and decorations with beautifully designed trees, wreaths, door decorations and centerpieces.” This festival gives residents and tourists alike a taste of wintery bliss just in time for the holiday season. In addition to the festival, families will be able to enjoy breakfast with Santa at 8am and 10am. Admission for the Festival of Trees is $3 for adults and $1 for children. If you’re interested in the breakfast – the cost is $15 for adults and $10 for children. Reservations are required for breakfast, so be sure to call ahead-262-377-2237. And if the daytime festivities aren’t enough… A Magic of the Lights Gala Auction will also be taking place at the center the evening of the 19th. Also hosted by the Cedarburg Junior Women’s Club, this adults only event will take place from 7-10pm with both live and silent auctions throughout the night. Proceeds will benefit the Big Brothers Big Sisters Club of Ozaukee County and the evening will be full of food, wine, beer and entertainment. Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 at the door. For more information on the event, or to purchase tickets click here, or call 262-377-2237. We hope to see you there!
