We’re back again to talk about choosing my bridal hair. I have had a wedding hair mood board that spans all sorts of hair styles, and it can be so hard to decide on what you want because the internet is saturated with bridal hair ideas…
There were a couple of directions I was wanting to take with my hair: having my hair down and curly, a curly ponytail and a slicked back bun.
Although it might feel overwhelming trying to decide, there are a number of factors that can help you narrow it down, so here are some deciding factors that helped me pick the direction of my hair style – the perfect bridal bun.
The first thing is that my wedding is in Spain in May, which means it will be fairly hot, so the last thing I want personally is for my hair to be fully down.
The second thing is that my veil is a long cathedral style veil that is meant to clip into your hair, so it will definitely hold better in an updo.
Lastly, I like how I look iin an updo/bun, and it’s one of my favorite hairstyles on myself, so it’s always a safe bet!
If you’re having trouble deciding, don’t be afraid to ask your hair stylist for their opinion because it can be really helpful if you have no idea what direction to take.
Also, Luckily you always do a test run with your hair stylist, so if you end up not loving your decision you can always go back to the drawing board!
