After an awards show, I sometimes find myself feeling frumpy, or at least dull compared to the looks stars like Emma Stone or Michelle Williams are sporting. So after the Oscars last weekend, I found myself searching for some makeup inspiration and stumbled upon some great suggestions on Makeup.com. They’ve got great ideas, and even a “tip of the day” feature. This is one of my favorite looks, but click here for a few more I’m dying to try out this year. And if you’re not confident you can execute these yourself, make an appointment at either our Cedarburg or Mequon salon, we’d love to help you out!
“Gorgeous and grunge are rarely used in the same sentence, but when a smoldering stare is paired with impeccable skin, the phrase ‘perfectly imperfect’ springs to mind. For a striking look that’s one-part model off-duty, two-parts heavy metal, emphasize your eyes by rimming them with a sooty shadow. Finish by blending it out and smudging it up—the messier, the better. Try: Giorgio Armani Eyes To Kill Intense Silk Eyeshadow in #13 Black.”
