Alyssa Herbst-Stylist One of De Riah’s prized and rockstar hair specialists, Alyssa is a De Riah exclusive stylist who has received a self-confessed “amazing” styling education beginning with an apprenticeship under the direct teaching of both Rachel and Shelley. Alyssa has spent all 4 years of her career with De Riah and is proud to be part of the haircut and styling team as well as say she is an educator for new stylists, teaching them the latest techniques and keeping up with the hippest trends. Maintaining education is essential for all of De Riah’s staff and Alyssa has participated in many classes at Aveda’s local training facility learning about the Aveda, Bumble & Bumble, BECCA Cosmetics and Goldwell product lines. Next week Alyssa will be heading to Chicago for a 5 day cutting workshop at Vidal Sassoon! (She adds she’s super excited!) So what is Alyssa’s self described style? “My personal style definitely has a vintage flair to it, but I also love keeping up with modern fashion trends. I love all aspects of my job, I have just as much fun doing a crazy asymmetrical hairstyle with punky makeup as I do cutting a classic bob. I get the most satisfaction in just making my clients feel beautiful and confident!” Alyssa loves it all, and her diverse training makes her the go-to girl for just about anything!
