Everyone knows someone whose life has been affected by breast cancer. Perhaps that’s why there are so many great events held to raise money for breast cancer research. This month, De Riah Boutique & Salon is excited to spread the word about the 2013 Bosom Buddy Run and Walk taking place on April 13th, right near our Cedarburg salon. Groups and individuals alike can register to complete a 5k run or a 1-3 mile walk throughout historic downtown. Check out the details below, and be sure to wear pink in support for the cure!
The Bosom Buddy Walk/Run – a 5K Timed Run or a 1-, 2- or 3-mile Walk – is held in downtown Cedarburg in conjunction with the Cedarburg Junior Woman’s Club Wearable Art Show on April 13, 2013. Registration starts at 8am. Participant perks include a T-shirt, free coffee from the Cedarburg Roastery and free admission to the Wearable Art Show in the Cedarburg Cultural Center. Register online at www.active.com. Preregistration: $20 adults; $10 kids (7-12); under 7 free. Day-of-event registration is $25. All proceeds from these events benefit breast cancer education, prevention, treatment and research. Wear pink!
