Recently Rachel Kernan volunteered at St. Mary’s Ozaukee Mequon in the Look Good….Feel Better program. This program, sponsored by The American Cancer Society, is for woman in all different stages of cancer. It teaches them simple beauty and hair techniques, such as tying scarves and applying make-up, that mask the effects of cancer. This was a very rewarding day for Rachel as she laughed, cried and was inspired by the strength of these ladies. Because of her great experience several of us here at DeRiah Boutique Salon in Cedarburg now want to get involved with this program.
