So, I’m still about 10 months away from tying the knot, but I’ve already said “YES!” to the dress of my dreams 3 months ago. And guess what? It was the very first one I tried on! Talk about love at first sight!
I had a pretty clear vision of what I wanted, and the bridal stylist nailed it. She pulled out this dress, and it was perfect! I would definitely recommend having some ideas of what you like before going to your appointments.
But here’s the thing: I didn’t realize it would take a fairly long time to arrive. Like, 7-8 months?! So, the moral of the story: the sooner the better when picking out your dress. They recommend making bridal dress appointments 9-12 months before the big day. And don’t forget about alterations, which usually happen 2-3 months before the wedding.
Don’t stress yourself out with last-minute dress drama. Plan ahead, and enjoy the process of finding your perfect gown!
