During the holiday season, DeRiah Boutique Salon hosted a few events to show our thanks to our loyal clients. During these events, we had the opportunity to raise funds and accept donations for our partner charities.
We’d like to extend a HUGE thank you to the many of you who donated to Exploit No More. We sold 12 Essential Bags, and another 30 were donated by LaFleur’s Gymnastics. We also raised over $500 in cash donations, raised money through the sale of products, and collected 110 clothing items through our Giving Tree at our Mequon salon.
Free The Girls exists to help women rescued from trafficking reintegrate back in to their communities, earning a safe income selling bras in the second-hand marketplace. FTG currently has programs in El Salvador, Mozambique, and Uganda. To date, we’ve shipped 1,152 bras to FTG. Thank you to those who have donated! We will continue to collect, so feel free to keep dropping them off! YOU are making a difference in the life of an individual who has survived sex trafficking.
