‘Juli’s creative brilliance arose in elementary school when she began designing and creating her own jewelry. She fostered her love of design, gaining a wealth of knowledge by working in upscale boutiques throughout high school and college. Enhancing the expertise gained with her on the job experience, Juli took it a step further and vastly expanded her formal education by studying design and architecture at the University of Texas.
As Juli’s journey continued, she owned and operated a chain of eclectic boutiques in Dallas for more that 10 years. During that time, the creative inspiration, her experience, education, and passion culminated into the production and launch of her own line of handmade jewelry and accessories – Julio Designs, which she sold exclusively in her boutiques to perfectly compliment the clothing collections offered there.
With the birth of her son and understanding that time was becoming a high value commodity, Juli knew she was eager to turn her full attention to the development and evolution of Julio Designs. Her expertise attracted numerous other designers including Sally Davison, Coley and T.A.G., Eve Reid, Elizabeth Showers, Delight Van Dame, and Darian Thomas Designs for design and production assistance, solidifying her prominence in the industry.
In 2015 the rapid growth of Julio Designs inspired her decision to go beyond hand-crafted jewelry to include the offerings of customized, printed graphics on apparel and home goods.
What began as passionate work and years of dedication creating a thriving business brought a new sense of purpose-uplifting women and reinvesting in her community. Not only are her products 100% made in the USA, Juli proudly employs women, many who are mothers, in her community that desire a meaningful career opportunity while maintaining an amazing work/life balance for her team. Juli understands that a happy team is the key to preserving a thriving work environment.
