A couple months ago a ‘virtual facial’ would’ve sounded like a crazy idea to me. How does that even work? …and why? Cut to today, what seems like a lifetime later, and SIGN. ME. UP. It’s truly been the weirdest year. I’ve never really been a tech-y person, so when the world went virtual I was a little hesitant to fully throw myself into it. But I have to say, several weeks later, that technology has been a lifesaver. While we’re certainly longing for some semblance of our old ’normal’ (especially that whole salons and spas being open thing) I’m impressed with how so much of the community has been able to function remotely, Zooming and Facetiming away.
For me in particular, the thing that has made me feel most normal (and let’s be honest, kept me sane) has been weekly video chats with friends. Each Friday, a group of us get together and catch up on the week and it’s been really great. So when HydroPeptide started promoting their online facial parties, I was excited to share!
Basically, you follow the steps below. Pick your facial, and get to glowing!
1. Purchase your at home facial kit
2. Pick a theme and Download a Virtual Invite
3. Set event date for at least 1+ week out, send virtual invite ( Add text to image via social media app, canva or any other photo editing tools)
4. Send virtual invite to your friends with link to purchase their “at home facial kits”. (Kits will arrive in five business days)
